This entirely wood decked terrace incorporates a bench seat designed as a continuation of the floor, brightened with coloured cushions. Planters concealed behind the bench contain a bamboo hedge that screens the building opposite from view. The entrance door is also hidden, by a woven wicker partition with pots of climbing and hanging flowering annuals behind it. The fine view looking over the Mole is instead left unencumbered, with just a few small pots of lavender placed along the parapet wall, next to which is the eating area.
